Little Willow

Little Willow is the youngest of the nursery groups providing a unique environment of three rooms and a cot room for children aged from 3 months to roughly 18 months, depending on individual development. We aim to form strong relationships with both children and parents, enabling the children to have a positive, stimulating and caring experience while they start their nursery journey.

We are a welcoming, enthusiastic and happy team, who work hard to support the children through their learning journey. We have extensive experience and qualifications, with many of our team having been with us for over 15 years.

Our rooms are spacious, colourful and stimulating, which the children enjoy exploring throughout the day. We provide a wide range of activities and experiences to help the children develop in all areas of learning. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage principles and document each child's achievements using tablet computers. Activities are aimed at stimulating the children's senses and developing the early stages of language and communication skills.

We have our own garden area, with bright soft rubber flooring. It caters for all weather conditions, from the canopy to cover us from the rain and snow, to umbrellas which shade us when we play on the grass. The garden is a high priority which we use as part of our everyday experiences. We often take the inside out. The children love to explore and care for our raised flower beds, which are full of flowers, vegetables and herbs, further stimulating their senses.

Children start with us at different stages of development. Before they graduate to the next group, they are well on their way to gaining their independence.
